| Estaca Bay beach resort is a nice quiet little get away from the city. It is north of Cebu near the town of Compestella. You can either pay a taxi driver to take you there for about 250 pesos....or catch a jeepney from Ayala center to Jollibee in Coselecion right near the jollibee in Conselecion is where the other jeepneys going further north will be waiting along the road. Then from there catch another jeepney going to compestela. Just be sure to tell the driver or conductor you want off at Stakili Beach resort. | ||

| Stakili is the old name of Estaca Bay and the locals still call it Stakili. You will take about one hour to get there and will cost about 30 pesos total. If you want to spend the night it was only around 1250 pesos per night for a nice air conditioned room with hot showers and cable t.v. and a small refrigerator. If you just want to visit for the day and go swimming or maybe have a family picnic...this a great place. There is a 25 peso per person entrance fee and I think 75 pesos to go swimming. | |||

| It is quiet...beautiful and away from the city. If you want to picnic they do have a restaurant and I believe the two of us ate good for about 400 pesos. If you do stay the night then ask about going to there other resort which is called nalusuan island. It is in the middle of the ocean and a great romantic getaway. | |||
