| I think it was the first time for some of these kids to see an American.. Some would touch my arm and ask why I have much fur on my arm..hehe...We were in rebel territory in the mountains around San Fernando, Bukidnon visiting the tribes there for mission work... I had brought clothes, soap, toothbrushes and other misc. items for these tribal villagers. They have already been converted to Christianity by the pastor of our church there in Malaybalay city. As an American I have to be careful where I travel and try to cover myself at times so as we travel no one would know there was a white foreigner traveling there. |
