After shucking the corn... grandma will clean and pick all the "hairs" / silk of it then..... |

Grandpa will put the corn on a nail...that holds it in place.. then he runs this round knife down the corn and it takes all the corn off the cob... put it in the freezer for good fresh sweet corn during the cold winter months... Yes !! |
