| Up until June 2008, my wife was a
special education teacher at MCCS. Stopping by the classroom from
time to time I have learned some basic sign language and have grown
quite fond of the many special ed children she has in her
classroom. Their needs are special and there is not much budget
for the teachers there in the Philippines. Teachers are required
to assist in buying materials and even had to raise money to get the electric
wires ran from the post to there classroom cause the school ran out of
budget. I have promised my continued support to these children and
teachers and many items such as puzzles.. coloring books...flash
cards... and many school supplies... backpacks..paper..pencils..chalk
and crayons just the basic needs are really needed for their day to day
usage. |
