With passion my wife and
I both love the Philippines. For her it is her home country where
she spent over 30 years. For me it is my second home. Over 8 years I have traveled back and forth and have visited many places in the
Philippines. The people are for the most part very hospitable and
welcome most foreigners with a friendly smile. From the mountains
of Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon, to the island culture of the open
seas...you will find a very diverse and interesting lifestyles.
Through our Filipino Cultural Display, we want to show Americans what a great and wonderful place the Philippines is to live and what a wonderful, exciting and sometimes funny the cultural experience can be. For Filipinos, it is a trip down memory lane. Many of you will see the pictures and the items I have brought back and it will remind you of your childhood. Many of you are Fil-Ams and you can show you children your toys or other household items such as the filipino broom the Walis Ting Ting or the coconut husk for cleaning the floor the Lampaso or Bounot. Filipinos are very ingenious and the children make many homemade items. Below you will find pictures of our Display. It is over 12 tables in all and we even have our very own Sari-Sari Store. If you are a Fil-Am and would like for us to present our Cultural Display, Please contact us at our email.... leefamily@jason-lee.us
