| It is now Saturday around 9:00 p.m. At 4 cm Joy finally had to ask for an epidural. Her body relaxed and she went from 4 cm to 10 cm in about 1 hour... so she did not get any rest at all before it was time to start pushing. She spent 2 hours of trying to push the baby. Around 9:30 p.m. both Joy and the Doctor made the decision that a c-section was needed. They began the preparation and within 30 minutes we were headed to the Operating Room. |
